Hello my name is Lasonya Holloman. I've been a nurse for 24 years and I have been a part of North Side family for 10 years. The thing that keeps me here would be the wonderful relationship that I have developed with the members of the surgical services team. We've created a wonderful family and I'm just so grateful and so proud to say I am a member of the North Side family staff. Thank you!

An interpreter on the Atlanta campus. And I stayed there as a staff interpreter full-time for two years. Then when Northside finally acquired Gwinnett Medical Centers here in Lawrenceville and Duluth, a position became available, and I transferred out to the Lawrenceville campus where I continued to be a full-time staff interpreter, but had the added role of being the staff educator for our department, which was really important because Gwinnett Medical Center and Northside handled interpretation services differently. And it was really imperative that the staff knew what the standards of practice and the expectations for care were when it pertains to Northside's way of offering interpretation services to our patients. So I stayed in that dual role of staff educator and interpreter for two years. And, just recently, about three months ago, I became the supervisor for our department. So lots of changes in four years.
